East Boston High School is the only school I have ever taught at. I have been here for the past six years, and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon. I currently teach Advance Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry. I'm also one of the debate coaches and a content leader. I have also taught MCAS and SAT prep classes.
My goals for the school are to have the best math department in the city of Boston. I want Court Street to look at what EBHS does and say, "that's the way the whole city should be!!!" I believe this is doable with a lot of hard work, and determination, because I think we have the best students in the city.
During my time at Eastie I have had many great teaching moments, but two stick out. The first is being a part of the first two students to ever get perfect scores on the MCAS math exam, and the other is winning our first debate tournament last year. It's moments like those that make it easy to come to work.
