Ms. Reid
My name is Stacy-Michelle Reid and I teach Physics and Math at East Boston High School. I am originally from the west coast, and graduated with a Construction Engineering degree from Arizona State University. Prior to becoming a teacher I managed construction sites as an engineer, owned a coffee shop, and spent some time in the Army. Recently, I completed my Masters degree in Education from Northeastern University.
I've been teaching math and science at Eastie since 2006. In my time here, I am most proud of the accomplishments of our Key Club. The club has grown to almost 50 students, who spend much of their free time volunteering with Key Club at various community projects. Within Key Club, I've seen quiet, shy students who grow and become leaders at their college and in their community.
This year I am team teaching the Freshman Achievement Academy, and look forward to seeing the freshmen bloom into the awesome students they are!
