My name is Robert Anthony and I have had the satisfaction of being the Ice Hockey coach at Eastie for the past 13 years. I am a 1975 graduate of East Boston High School. I do not teach at East Boston High School. I am currently a Boston Police officer who holds the title of Chronologist (in charge of researching our History) I have worked as a Boston Police Officer for the past 29 years. I am a graduate of Western New England University and hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Law Enforcement. I was a Goalie for the Boston Police A-7 Hockey Team for 15 years, and I have been involved with both Youth Hockey and High School Hockey for the past 23 years. I am a Certified Hockey Coach with The City of Boston, USA Hockey and the National High School Sports Association. I am a member of the Mass State Hockey Coaches Association. Growing up in East Boston I believe that each of our Student/Athletes are very important to our High School the number one priority is having our student/Athletes succeed in their school work first, sports are second. When each of our players take to the ice they are playing for the name on the front of the shirt, East Boston High School, as a team they will succeed.
We have a tough schedule every year; we play 20 games against some of the best schools outside of our conference. We all play for East Boston High School Motto of Class, Pride and Tradition! Go Jets!!!
