Orientation on Friday, May 24 at 8:30 a.m
East Boston High School holds
its Freshmen Family Orientation on Friday, May 24 at 8:30 a.m. at EBHS. All
students assigned to EBHS are welcome to attend this Orientation.
We hold Orientation during
the school day so that all incoming freshmen get the opportunity to:
· Tour the
school while classes are in session
· Talk
with teachers and high school students
· See a
student produced DVD about EBHS and its policies
· Meet
coaches, team leaders, group leaders, etc. for all our extracurricular
programs, sports and teams.
· Meet the
Guidance Counselors and House Deans
· Talk
with some of our community partners about programs for teens,
· And much
more!
Students and parents are
given notes to take back to schools/employers notifying them of the Orientation
attendance.

La orientación empieza con
una explicación acerca de las metas para los estudiantes de noveno
grado. Padres y estudiantes tendrán la oportunidad de recorrer el edificio. Por
favor póngase en contacto con Nina al teléfono 617-635-9896, ext. 30316 y
déjele saber si usted piensa asistir a esta orientación. Habrá traductores
disponibles.
Para que el estudiante
pueda tomar parte en la orientación, uno de las padres deberá estar presente. No se permitirá ningún estudiante
sin la compañía de uno de sus padres.
Para verificar su asistencia,
tanto padres de familia como estudiantes, recibirán una carta haciendo
constancia de dicho acto.
